Moving Goods between Outlets (Transfer Out)

Learn how to ship items between outlets that aim to manage the stock in each of your outlets.

Transfer out between outlets is used to manage stock at your outlets. iSeller provides a multi-outlet feature where you can add store outlets that allow you to manage inventory in each outlets.

Making Data Transfer Out

Step 1: Enter the Catalog menu then the Transfer sub-menu. Click Add Transfer.

Step 2: In the display that appears, please fill in the General panel where you can select the product you want to transfer by clicking the Find Products feature. Products that can be selected are only products with an active inventory track.

In that panel, you can also fill in the quantity that you want to transfer into the Quantity column.

Step 3: In the Details panel, you can fill in detailed information about the transfer activities carried out. On the Transfer Type information, please select Transfer Out and then on the Transfer Type Information, please select Transfer to Another Outlet. For information from Outlet, you can choose which outlet will send the product. In the To Outlet information, you can choose which outlet will receive the product.

Goods can only be sent by users who have access to the sending outlet, whereas those who can receive the shipment are those users who have access to the receiving outlet. You can set user access to certain outlets on user information when adding or changing individual users.

Step 4: The Additional Details Panel allows you to add Reference Number and Tags which can then make it easier for you to find the Transfer Out List of the Outlets.

Step 5: After that you can choose the desired transfer method.

There are 2 transfer methods for Shipping Goods between Outlets:

  • Automatic: Automatic will immediately reduce the stock of goods at the outlet that transfers the goods but has not added the stock of goods at the outlet that receives the goods before the recipient's outlet confirms.   • Manual: The manual will not immediately reduce the stock of goods at the outlet that transfers the goods before transferring the goods. To learn about the steps to send goods manually, read Transfer Out between Outlets - Manual Transfers.

Step 6: After all information has been filled in, please click the Save button to save and carry out the Transfer Out Outlet of the product.

Timeline

In the Timeline section, you can add internal notes as an explanation of the goods sent to other outlets.
