For those of you who choose to use a safer method when customers log in to your online store using an OTP code, iSeller has a WhatsApp Notification add-on as a means of customer login. This feature allows you to send an OTP code via WhatsApp to customers who are logging in using the phone number in your online store. In addition, this feature also has the use of sending receipts when the customer successfully makes a product payment transaction.
To be able to use this add-on, please follow these steps.
Step 1: Please install the WhatsApp Notification add-on on iSeller. Please select the Apps menu > Browse sub menu > then install WhatsApp Notification as shown below.
Step 2: If it is installed, you need to activate the add-on by selecting the Apps menu > selecting the WhatsApp Notification sub menu > then activating Enable WhatsApp Notification.
Once activated, a display like the following image will appear.
OTP: If enabled, this option will be useful for sending a verification code through a phone number that is connected to WhatsApp as a means of logging into your online store.
Receipt : If enabled, this option will be useful for sending proof of payment to customers who successfully place orders at POS via phone numbers connected to WhatsApp.
Plan : To use this add-on, you need to purchase quota to send WhatsApp OTP messages or proof of payment to your customers.
Status : This item allows you to see the amount of quota used from the total quota you purchased to send WhatsApp OTP messages or proof of payment to customers.
History : This item allows you to view WhatsApp Notification usage activity.
Step 3: Select the content of the WhatsApp Notification add-on you want. In the General Settings panel, please select OTP and /or Receipt.
Step 4: Buy WhatsApp Notification usage quota with the choice of the message quota package you want. In the Plan panel, please select Select Plan.
In the Buy Plan view, select the message quota package you want and fill in the payment method you want to use > Pay Now.
Step 5: After you have successfully purchased your WhatsApp Notification quota, you will receive a confirmation email from iSeller as shown below.
Then after the quota has been installed, you need to set up WhatsApp Notification on the online store for OTP usage which can be seen in the WhatsApp Notification Add-On Settings for OTP. Meanwhile, the use of Receipt can be seen in the WhatsApp Notification Add-On Settings for Receipt.
Step 6: If your message quota is running out, iSeller will send a notification message to your e-mail. This applies if the remaining message quota in the WhatsApp Notification add-on is 10%, 5%, and 1% of the total quota you purchased.
Step 7 : If you want to refill your message quota when it runs out, there are several options you can do.
Auto Recharge: For those of you who bought a plan with a credit card payment method, this item allows you to automatically refill your message quota with the same package you used before. Then, the bill will automatically be credited to your credit card.
Renew Plan : This item allows you to buy a message quota with the same package you used before.
Change Plan : This item allows you to replace the previous message quota package with another available package.
