To increase access traffic for your online store, iSeller provides features to make your online store easier to find on search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

SEO is a setting to increase the likelihood that your online store will be found in search engines when people search for words or sentences related to certain pages on your online store.

Please go to Sales Channels > Online Store. Then look at the Web Optimization panel as we have indicated below.

There are several SEO settings that you can do, namely:

  • Home Page SEO: SEO to simplify searching your home page / home page for your online store.

  • General Page SEO settings: SEO to make it easier to find the pages of your online store. The page in question is the page in the page settings.

  • Favicon: Add a website icon to optimize search.

  • Mobile Apps: You can add information on the website to let you know if you have a smartphone application.

  • Optimization: Additional optimization features for product pages, google analytics, google tags, and others.

Home Page SEO Settings

In this setting, you can adjust the appearance of the online store home page on the search page.

Please see the SEO Home Page section. The first line is the home page title, the second line is the home page url or address, and the third line is the home page description.

You can change it by pressing the edit (pencil icon) button in the SEO Home Page section. Then you can change the title and description in the settings marked as below.

Click Save button when finished. The appearance of your home page on the search engine will be as shown below.

The home page title will also appear in the title of your browser tab as shown below.

In the description section, it is expected that you enter a number of keywords related to your website so that when someone searches on search engines with these keywords, your website has a higher chance of being displayed in search results.

General Page SEO Settings

In this setting, you can adjust how pages other than your online store's home page appear on the search page.

In the Web Optimization panel, please see the General Page SEO section. Similar to the home page, you can set the title and description of the appearance of your page in search engines. Click the change button on the top right.

Note that you don't need to write the page title in this section. Writing {page} here has a function that will be replaced by the title of each page automatically. So, you don't need to bother organizing your pages one by one.

For example, if the page title says {page} | Glamore, then each of your pages will appear in the format of the Title Page | Glamore. A Terms & Conditions page will appear with the title Terms & Conditions | Glamore, then the Products page will appear with the title Products | Glamore. So it is with the description section. This {page} text will be replaced by the title of each page. An example is like the following picture.

If you want to set a global description for all pages, you can replace it in the description section. Then the description you enter will be applied to all existing pages besides the home page.

Adding Favicon

Favicon is your online store icon that will appear in the tab title. You can upload it in the Favicon section in the Web Optimization panel. Click the Upload button to upload an image from your computer.

The modified image must have a ratio of 1: 1 or square. And the maximum image size is 250 KB. Then click Save button to save changes.

After you upload an image, you can see your favicon on your browser tab. For example like the following picture.

The favicon you enter can also support your online store search in image search.

Using Cellular Applications

If you have a mobile application for your online store, please enter iOS App ID and Android App ID in the Mobile Applications section in the Web Optimization panel.

For iOS, your app id can be obtained by opening the apple app store in the browser, then in the app url, the number after the id image is your application id. For example, the iSeller Admin application in the app store. The application URL is https://itunes.apple.com/app/iseller-admin/id1279627776?mt=8. Then the application id is 1279627776.

For Android, you can open Google Play Store in the browser, then select your application. In the application url, your application id is after writing id=. For example, the iSeller Admin application on the google play store. The application URL is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=iSeller.Android.v2&hl=en. Then the iSeller Admin application id is iSeller.Android.v2.

Enter the application id in the Smartphone Applications section in the Web Optimization panel. Then click Save button in the upper right corner.

If you use this feature, a link to your application will appear at the top of the browser when customers open your online store through a mobile browser. The link that appears will be automatically adjusted to the type of mobile operating system of the customer. For example like the following picture.

Activation of the Optimization Feature

In the Optimization section in the Optimization panel, you can activate several features, namely:

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the product

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Tags

  • Facebook Pixel

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

In addition to managing the homepage and page SEO, you can set the SEO for each product you have. To learn more, please read the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Settings article for the product page.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a feature of Google that allows you to see an overview of your online store, such as visitor statistics and so on. To manage the integration of this feature, please ask the iSeller support team during the specified operating hours.

Google Tags

Google Tags is a feature of Google that allows you to use tags to make it easier to search on search engines. To manage the integration of this feature, please ask the iSeller support team during the specified operating hours.

Facebook Pixel

Facebook Pixel is a feature that can connect your store with the Facebook Store. To manage the integration of this feature, please ask the iSeller support team during the specified operating hours.

Thus you have made SEO settings. Note, SEO does not guarantee that your online store search will appear immediately on the first page in the search engine. This is because search engines also consider other things such as the pages most frequently searched by users, website traffic, the suitability of the title with the page content, and others.
