To make general payment settings for the online shop, you can select the Settings menu, then click Payments. The display will appear as shown below.
On the online store panel, you can see several payment methods that you can use.
There are 2 payment methods that fall into the general payment category, namely:
- Cash on Delivery: Customers pay directly when sellers and buyers meet directly.
- Manual: Customers pay directly to you without intermediary iSeller before the product is shipped.
Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery payment method is a payment method that allows customers to pay for products by meeting buyers and sellers.
Cash on Delivery can be activated simultaneously with the Manual payment method which will be explained later, or together with iSeller Pay.
To activate it, you just need to click the button to the right of the Cash on Delivery option on the Online Store panel, then click Save button in the top right corner of the page.
Note in the image below that even if you activate Cash on Delivery at the same time as iSeller Pay, customers cannot use the integrated shipping service if they want to select Cash on Delivery as the payment method. If the option Cash on Delivery (COD) cannot be selected as shown below, it means that the Customer has chosen an integrated delivery service as the delivery method.
Integrated shipping service is a shipping method that allows you to track your package while it is in the delivery process.
Customers can use the Cash on Delivery payment method only if they choose manual delivery as the delivery method for their goods/products. The integrated shipping service can only be used if the customer pays with iSeller Pay.
The manual payment method is used when you don't want to use iSeller Pay. All the payment process and shipment tracking is not recorded by the iSeller system, which means you have to check yourself whether the payment has been received or not.
The manual payment method is a mutually agreed upon payment. For example, payment by bank transfer. If you use iSeller Pay, you will get an email notification if the customer has paid the payment, but because you are using manual payment, you have to check yourself whether the payment has been received or not.
Please go to Settings > Payments. On the Online Store panel, activate the Manual payment method. You cannot activate Manual and iSeller Pay payment methods at the same time.
You can write a description in the form of instructions for how you want the payment to be made, as in the example above. Then click Save button in the top right corner.
On the checkout page, Customers can select Manual Payment. The payment information that you have previously entered will appear as a guide for customers in making payments.
Receiving Payment and Shipping Preparation
After the order is made, the next step is to receive payment. Make sure you have received payment for the products you sell before proceeding to receive payment. The process of receiving payment is a process to indicate that an order has been paid off. Please read the Receiving Payments article to learn more.
After receiving payment, the next step is delivery. The delivery process at iSeller is called fulfillment or order fulfillment. To find out more about how to fulfill an order, please read Fulfillment (Online).
Transactions that have been completed will be entered into the Sales Report.
